We must have missed those somehow! Must admit we did get a bit disorientated after a few hours surrounded by all things white, and probably ended up going round in circles!
Been today. CAmplets are just behind the pennines.
Having seen the new new material on the pennines I am not sure that I like it. Though the colours are nice, and I am sure the performance will be good, it looked like cheap raincoat material to me.
I love my older pathfinder but have decided that it I had the money I would not buy the new ones, I would rather spend my money on a caravan with a fixed bed for about the same. (yes I know I have said a dirty word!!!) Seriously, I could see us upgrading to a newer (by a few years) pathfinder in a few years and still enjoying, but sitting inside these new ones today I really could not see how the expense could be justified. Older models are definitely worth the money (ours is 2003 so was still quite a cost) but the new ones, for so much more are actually almost the same, just newer, so why buy new when an older one is just as good!
I definately feel the FC manufacturers have to be careful they don't price themselves out of the market. Traditionally most people have bought a FC because they were cheaper than a caravan and could be towed by a smaller, cheaper vehicle - a kind of halfway house between tent and caravan. The couples market in particular now has a huge choice of smaller lightweight caravans at not much greater cost than the top end folders. If manufacturers aren't careful, this group may choose caravans.

Ours wasn't cheaper than an equivalent caravan.
We bought ours because we could store it. We can't store a caravan.
Exactly the reason we're going to be buying one too. Of course there's less drag too so a bit more economical to tow, and a kingsize and double bed ready to go, no more dreading going to bed after a long day because you've got to make the bed up. Colin asked about an annexe for one and he was told they would throw one in on the Quartz 6 if he bought at the show. (Shame we didn't have the money for a brand new one or we would have bitten his hand off)

We came away with a new Chamois leather and joined practical caravan and got a free bag of auto glym (told colin he couldn't have it now as was wrapping it up as his Christmas present, lol)

Not sure about that !!!! we decided on a combi because they give a lot more room ready made bed easy to store at home & a doddle to tow ..... nothing to do with cheap price in fact we could have bought a good second hand caravan for the price we paid for our combi ..... we've looked at lots of caravans new & second hand & I'm not even tempted they all look the same, big white boxes ..... My only dream is to buy a Holtkamper .... not a caravan, well not while I'm the right side of 70 !!!
