Hi all, I was speaking to a Dealer about Crusader and Pathfinders yesterday and he said that the sliding bed mechanism on the Crusader for the years 05, 06, 07 were prone to faults and he was adamant that he does not buy or sell any Crusaders from these years because of these problems.

Has anyone had or heard of any problems with the sliders on these years.

Thank you.

Hi Tony,
I have a Crusader 07 which I recently purchased from Ebay.
When setting up I sometimes find the tow end bed does not easily slide into it's bracket so am careful with that part which is not really a problem. I would bet though there are some that just shove harder when this happens which could cause some damage to the system.
Overall I prefer the slide out to the flip over and deliberately went for an 07 model which was the last year they produced the conumatic system. Slowly but surely is the trick. If anything sticks cajole rather than force wins the day.
