Good Evening

Tried to open the Camplet Concorde up for the first time this year and found the Lock on the Kitchen Jammed the key wont go in all the way. I tried WD40 but the key still wont go in, is it a big job to replace Or should I go to Camperland and let them change it for me.Any help would be apreciated.

Thanks

Try tightening the wheel screw as much as possible. Then apply key, or conversely undo the screw wheel and try it.

It seem to work when we had problems with key insertion.

Agree with SGThomas. Sometimes if there is pressure on the locking arm because the wheel screw has been part undone while the trailer is still locked, the key won't fully insert. Screw the wheel screw completely closed and try again.

If this is not the problem and you do need a new lock they are simple to fit as long as you have your own rivet gun.

1) Drill out the 4 rivets on the backing plate on the inside of the door lock, being careful not drill through the door itself. Remove the old lock barrel.

2) Rivet the new lock barrel in place with 4 rivets on the backing plate.

Follow this link to buy a Camp-let lock or call us or post again if you have any more issues or to arrange fitting. Contact details are here.
