Have a rash of mould/mildew spots on inside roof canvas on Pullman ...

Have tried some canvas cleaner (Halfords) ... no effect.

Any bright ideas?

you can use milton to kill the spores but may not remove the spots it did on mine but some have said not.

Hi,

We have a problem with mold too.  We store our camper on our drive, covered with a waterproof cover and every 2 weeks we have to air it as it gets very bad condensation on one corner in the bedroom.  This obiously leads to moldy canvus.  Does anyone know what is casing this condensation or had a similar problem?  It is getting to a point now where the metal poles are rusting and the wood is getting very moldy.

Put a bowl of salt in the camper. This will attract the moisture. Change it every  month or so

I second the salt, we used rock salt in our caravan a few years back, surprising when you would check it would be replaced with salt crystals, or leave too long and moisture droplets too.   GOODLUCK

Just a thought but if you leave a non-breathable cover on it in warm weather it will cause condensation inside.

I know this is an old post but for referance :-

When storing
You need a breathable cover to allow ventilation otherwise you will get condensation.

A good idea i have heard is to put the large type bubble rap on the boards before pulling back the cover to allow ventilation through the gaps of the bubble rap.
