hi have bought a trigano trailer tent (odyssee) with a built in ground sheet. i am thinking of covering the floor with an awning carpet to protect the ground sheet also thinking of putting a large groundsheet under the awning floor to keep it clean. husband thinks i'm crazy but is it worth it??????
Use a tarpaulin, get one bigger than the size of the groundsheet and then cut it so that it is just slightly smaller. Definitely don't need an awning carpet to go underneath.
You'd basically be making a footprint for it that you can buy for tents with SIGs.
Hi Debbie,we have the trigono odysee and also have another groundsheet and we got some rugs from dunhelm that cover the whole floor.I was the same as you wanting to protect the built in ground sheet, glad we did as we,ve used ours 5 times now and its kept perfect. Its also much cosier.Good luck with your new odysse,im sure you,ll love it as much as we do.

if it was me i would also be putting a groundsheet under and some form of carpet on the top it just helps everything stay clean... what do you all think of your odyssee as we are picking ours up next saturday ?.
thank you so much for all your advice. we are picking up our trailer tent on 23rd and I will get some grounsheets at the sametime. going away following week for few nights to try it out can not wait. xxx
