hi there i was wondering if i can pick your brains...

i have just brought an sunncamp 400 se tt and want to fit a tap & water pump to the sink unit, now ive found a folding tap suitable and think a foot pump may be the way forward as to getting the water in, anyone have suggestions as to how the pump [and what type of pump] could be fitted??

cheers katie

I think that once upon a time, before leisure batteries and EHU, all caravans had either a big jug or a Whale pump similar to these.

Hi,

I use a battery powered camping shower in my Raclet. Remove the shower head and the pipe fits perfectly onto the push fit connector on the tap in the kitchen unit. The battery unit has a clip on the bag that slots onto the side of the kitchen, and there's a button on top. You drop the electric pump in the water carrier, and press the button to run the tap. I don't use it as drinking water, as for some reason it tastes odd when it's been through the pump; I guess it's to do with the electicity??? Batteries have lasted ages too, so don't worry about that.

Hope it's of interest.
