It sounds like the micro switch isn't working on the bathroom sink tap , check the wiring and see if you have any come off the underneath of the tap , if they haven't you will probably need to remove the tap and replace the micro switch . To prove that the switch is faulty touch the two wires from the tap together and the pump should run .
