i bought a conway camargue and when we collected it the gas pipe from the kitchen hangs down and then gets tucked into the transit cover.
now im a very able hands on person and this just dont sit right with me im sure conway didnt desighn it like this but as im new to tt s i m not sure how it should go
i hope this makes sense to someone reading this
i was thinking that it might be some sort of quick release fitting but cant find anything
our chantilly hose was a nightmare ,it got in the way when you put on the transit cover and was a bitch to put back on the metal pipe if you took it off ,in the end i compromised and had a short bit of rubber pipe from the metal pipe and fitted a quick release connector to it that sticks out of the back of the cooker half an inch so you can push the ring to remove the long bit of hose.
the cookers metal pipe was thin and unsupported and right up in the top of the cooker at arms reach facing a hole the flexible pipe goes into but 3 inches inside!and every trip i had nightmares in case i snapped it ,now its fine
Unfortunately thats the way it ism, the pipe will hang out of the back of the kitchen. We used to tuck the pipe into the trailer as we put the kitchen back on it before travelling.
good luck
Jim
