Hi can anybody recommend the best gas bbq to take camping.  There's loads out there to choose.  Prefer bbq with griddle (for the fry ups) Thanks

We have one like the one above but the lava rocks take an age to heat up and the one we have doesn't seem to heat the grill plate evenly.

Most folk on here seem to favour the Cadac for a gas BBQ.

I have one like that.  OK Lava rocks take time to heat but you can still cook, heat after gas off.  I also put plate of glass underneath which makes a great hotplate/plate heater.  However, if you put top completely on the gas goes off so I place it diagonally leaving corner gaps.

We have one like stirling's.  It h eats up ok, fast, and is compact.
