New to the folding camper brigade, so can anyone give me a simple answer to this question.

We only have a cold water feed on our folding camper but do we need to have a leisure battery.  In order for the water pump to work, do we need this?  The camper has a button on the right hand side of the unit which we have been told you turn on when you want running water and turn off when you don't.  I take it that activates the pump.

We have tried to get it working with EHU and am not sure if the pump is just not working.

We have the EHU cables but also have a transformer box which leads to me believe that his could convert the voltage.

Please help, hoping to go away the weekend and want to get this sorted.
