Regarding space to store things in a TT - yes, there is loads! When we sold ours, I can't believe how much we took out of it! games, kites, first aid kit, lamps - all sorts that I'd forgotten we had! 
Ideally you need somewhere to open it up to dry, or you could take the whole canvas off and dry it indoors if desperate, it wouldn't be difficult to get back on again, just prolong the pitching time.
Cabanon TTs are great, as are their tents and plenty of choice in the second hand market.
Yes you can get bike racks. Think i have seen them at Penrose. Not cheap, but quite rare to get a second hand one.
