I feel such a fool for asking this but how do you fill the flush system on a pennine pathfinder? I have tried putting water into the pipe arm that pulls out but can never get any into it it just spills over - yet i don't think there is any in because the toilet wont flush properly!

Also how do you drain this tank over winter? Having just had to replace the truma water tank due to not remembering to drain I am a little concerned over the toilet one too!

I can't help with your problem, but I am sure other Pennine owners will come on.

On here there is no such thing as "A daft question".

You may ,however get quite a few daft answers

Are you talking about the little see through pipe?  If so then that is the wrong place.

there is a pull out plastic hose in the top of the toilet box, white with a yellow screw top.  The flush water and pink liquid go in there.  If it is this that is overflowing then you may have some form of blockage as that is wide enough to fill with ease.

To drain we usually just flush the toilet until all gone, (don't put more than a couple of litres in the above when camping for only a few nights)   You can invert the little see through pipe to get the last bits out too but have not tried that bit myself.

Hi, sorry it might be grey rather than white.  If you look on this thread you will see a pic of where the water goes in part way down page 2.

depending on your model year, later models C400 type with wheeled cassette, there could be a a small green funnell type plastic cup beetween the handle of the cassette itself ,this comes off and fits on the top of the swing out arm ,allowing water to flow in to the flush tank ,the flush tank indicacter tube  should show about half full

Again depending on year you may be able to pull out your toilet roll holder and then the "cup" that it sits in and that gives you access to the flush tank. You may be able to see any blockages in there

The small vertical clear tube inside the toilet cassette door can be pulled down to drain and also I assume you know that shows you the flush tank water level? If so is that full or at least half full? If yes then may be a pump problem?

No silly questions here as we are all learning!

Update- I put my mouth over the filling spout and blew for all my worth! I can now fill the tank up fine so there must have been a blockage? But now I have a problem in that flush water is leaking into the toilet compartment and running into the living area. Its pink so I know it is from there! Its not a massive amount but enough to cause concern! Don's see where it is coming from though.
