Having used my TT twice, both on weekends which involved big groups of people I know, it's received a LOT of interest. I think I could have sold it 4 times over.
Anyway, a good friend of mine is looking to get one. Her mum, a keen camper, has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer, and feels like camping will be out of the question now. She's already had a mastectomy and has started on 5 months of chemo. They are both involved heavily in the scouts, with my friend being a scout leader.
They don't have much funds - around £200, and since I was very lucky to get a TT through this forum, she asked if I would post on here to see if anyone has one for sale ?
There is her, her mum and her lad who is 10. At the moment she's got a tent (and was with me when my tent died in the winds at shell island) but her mum won't even consider using that with her anymore.
Keep an eye - or post a wanted ad - on Preloved and on the free ads on here. I bought a Raclet Jade in good condition from here this week for £200 complete with awning (thanks Mark!)
I have been in touch with someone on here who is selling theirs and am waiting for my mate to decide - it's quite a big one and she only has a little car so it might be too much.
Not looked on ebay recently, but when I was looking for ours I know they tended to go for quite a lot on there, sounds like you got a bargain mauretta.
I got a lovely CombiCamp from eBay a couple of years ago for around £120. It's brilliant! Keep your eyes open and always inspect before bidding because there is some rubbish being sold.
