Sounds like the same system that was on our old 1989 Pennine I bought replacements from Jacksons of Arley, it was a few years ago but its worth a try.

We got ours from Wandahome in Knottingley/Ferrybridge just off the M62/A1 turn off. They just cut how ever much you need in metre strips.

My "better half" got rid of the dam things because they were such a pain, we now have curtain poles and the curtains just slide on.
