I'm soooooo excited - I've just bought our first FC, a Pennine Sterling 1998.  We're avid tent campers but I have a terrible back so this purchase is so I don't have to give up my favourite hobby!

The camper is quite old and I'm looking forward to my new project; giving it a make-over.  Has anyone done this to theirs and do you have any ideas or suggestions.  I shall start with a REALLY GOOD CLEAN!  My Sister has said she'll make me some curtains etc but I really am looking forward to making my FC as cool as VW campers are to the van world :-)

I'm sure I'll have lots of questions but I love reading all the posts and your advice is always invaluable.

Thanks

Congratulations! I know how you feel. Id never heard od folding campers until a teacher at the school where I worked gave me her old one (1986) and we were hooked - what luxury. The only problem with it was that the awning had rotted and the door zip didnt close properly. Eventually we sold it on ebay to an Australian couple who were touring Britain and had a base to keep it for when they came back again and we bought our current one. I love it! I have even been known to open it up on a sunny day on a pretext to doing something to it.

Enjoy your camper

Maggie
