I've been chatting with my hubby about this and he says that if Fabsil won't penetrate it then water probably won't either, so it may well be fine. His suggestion is just to leave it alone, and if you're really worried about it, next time you have the tent up try watering that area with a watering can and see what happens. If it's only a small area in the bottom corner, then don't leave anything directly below it so that if water does come through then nothing inside will get wet.

You will have to soak the area with a hose,to get detergent out.Then dry and brush on storm,which you can get from any caravan shop.I did this and it worked great.
