I would go a max of an hour and a half so max of 25 to 790 miles depending on road types so should have plenty of campsites to choose from

Remember the further you drive the further you have to drive to get home and to me camping is about relaxing and getting away

Just a vw turbo diesel meant to say 70 miles in 1 and 1/2 hrs

For a weekend wouldn't travel much further than 1 hour. We like the Conkers site which is about 40 mins drive from home. Depends if you want to chill or visit somewhere specific really

We never go more than an hour away but we are very lucky to be in the midlands and by the M way. We can get to hereford, Stratford, the peaks and the cotswolds all in round about an hour.Its a great spot to get away camping! We dont like spending more than an hour in the car other wise by the time you get there and get set up the day has gone and for weekends thats no good.I dont know your area but Im sure someone on here does and will let you know some good spots! Have fun!
