Hi Tina, don't really know what you have there, jus wanted to get rid of your sad blue face.!   Could it be the remains of a seating / storage area?   apart from that, no idea.

In our Cabanon Saturn it's where two small drawers go and on top there's a seating cushion. Here's a similar picture to show you what I mean:

on our classic TT I was told its a magazine rack!!
fitted instead of the small drawers
does come in useful for storage

I had one of these in my cabanon mistral tt, just used for storage. Drawers were put in on the later versions.
