Hi we have a Pennine Pathfinder and we have the same problem with our garage. We too have only 1cm either side to get it through the door frame, but once through that, there is plenty of room. The art is getting the alignment right as you go in.
In terms of TV, there are plenty out there. I got mine off Ebay as with the portable satellite kit.
There is another thread on here, to which I've commented on relating to the merits of a satellite set up as opposed to an aerial.
what part of the garage door frame is the narrow area?as you can remove things like the side plates to give you move room,if that is not possible maybe rap some old carpet around the frame to stop damage to the fc.
as to the tele,if you only intend going on hookup, just get a supermarket special with builtin dvd.
I have been very happy with my Technika 19" with freeview & DVD player, Tescos own brand available in black or white use it in our bedroom & take it away just about the biggest size you can use.
------------- If it ain't broke don't try to fix it!
mine goes in our garage with care too. We did have to remove the door between are garage and utility ( no link to outside door and further fire doors before the kitchen) just so we could get it far back enough so that our son could still get his moped in the garage too! Just take it slow when pushing back.
we re-fashioned our garage door to open outwards like a door rather than be up and over - without the frame we have a good couple of inches at each side...still a bit hairy getting it in, especially getting the wheels up and over the bump where the garage floor is a bit higher than the drive, but we manage it with 2 of us.
I just wanted to say hi, welcome and what a lovely camper! I googled it quickly to check it was the model i thought. There are videos on you tube about putting it up which could be useful as a supplement to the instructions on hand over - it can be a lot to take in, watching the film a few time could be handy.
I hope you have many lovely breaks in your beautiful new toy!
We have a Pennine Countryman which only just fits through our narrow garage door. As the drive also slopes up steeply we had a mover attached to the camper. This has solved both problems and we have no trouble manoeuvring inch by inch with perfect control. Expensive but we wouldn't be without it!
