Quite happy with canvas in December! Pig to dry though. Have a nice time!

We have the same unit I should think that drying would be the issue like any other material. The new material is good the walls that is regarding the roof it`s like any other plasticy type material the water just sits on it so on that front it`s no different to any other. you will also get a certain amouht of condensation inside on the roof I am not saying that it will be soaked or dripping but if you use the heater it is going to cause condensation. We were away last week and were lucky to pack away dry we removed our adapted porch awning the day before which is now drying out completely in the conservatory. We have called it a day for this season I dont think that I could be doing with having to keep on putting it up at home every time to dry or to have to cope with the early dark nights and wet misarable wet dewy mornings.Thats my opinion but yours might be different.Good luck if you do decide to go.Cheers.Alex

we camp most of the year, never had a problem drying the new style sythetic canvas, even if it means opening up the camper a day or two later, luckily never had to pack it away wet yet, touch wood, but still open it up after we get back in case of condensation.

Hi, we camped in our countryman in Feb last year in frost and snow!! Daughter slept in awning (not impressed really) We were warm enough in main unit with heater on. Probably wouldn't do it again because daylight hours so short. However we would happily use it from march to october.
