Could someone tell me if a Sterling will fit in a standard single garage I'm concerned about the width rather than the length I think I am right in saying the width quoted is 207cm and I think a garage is 210cm, not a lot to spare! any help in this will be gratefully appreciated.
take into account any sticking out bits too like struts or covers for things like the fridge vents. We fit a pathfinder into our standard garage and think we have about one or two cm to spare each side but not sure that garages are that standard. If the sizes are as above it will be fine, just!!!
We cant fit our Pathfinder into our garage and its a double size but has a centre pillar with 2 garage doors. Would be fine if the PF didnt have gas strutts but it would still be a tight fit. The garage doors are standard up and over doors, if this helps any.

ours is standard up and over too and it is very close when the pathfinder goes in so we do it with great care, not much speed and a little shouting at each other lol!
The person we bought the FC off also kept it in a standard garage but they had cut out a little bit of the wooden doorway frame for the pathfinder as they had bike racks fitted to the body that stuck out a little more than the struts even. We had to remove the racks (well the plate bits that the racks slotted into) as we did not have enough door frame to start cutting bits out!
Thanks for the answers, why I was asking about a standard garage is because I rent mine from the council so I would not be able to "modify" it in any way.So if anyone has a Sterling in a "standard" garage or attempted to put one in I would be grateful for your comments.

As mentioned there is no such thing within those sorts of tolerances as a "standard" garage width. As you have the garage get your tape measure and go and get measuring!!
