We have a Cabanon Jupiter trailer tent which is going on for 8 yrs old. Its ok except that the fold out bed on one side of the trailer tent is now bowing. The inside of the bed used to rest on the trailer side, but there is now a gap, and as a result has no support. The outside of the bed has two folding legs ...and that is fine. Is it possible to get hold of two further folding legs to support the inside of the trailer tent (like the other two). These can be fixed to the bed base and folded when put away.
I have emailed Cabanon through their contact page but have received no answer
Thank You

Not sure if it can work. But a garage welded some metal together to make a pole stronger. Can one do something for you, if you could possibly get the object to the workshop and just ask or if they  know anyone that can help you.

Sorry if it is no good. I cannot find any spares for your unit on google.

Hope you can be successful. 8 years is not old for a tt.

Has a neighbour got welding equipment,

Thank you for your reply.
The bed has a metal frame underneath and there is nothing wrong with it, it just bows.
The other side, which is ok, has two metal brackets that rest on the side of the trailer...keeping it flat and supporting the bed. On the side with the problem, probably because of the fact that the mechanism is slightly different - its the side that folds over second - there is a gap between the bed panel and the side of the trailer ...the brackets have now moved and rather than sit on the trailer have moved, maybe, 2 inches out.
I will probably make some legs..but i just wondered....

I have had this problem with my old Conway Spirit, (it used the same bed hinges as yours) and it's a simple fix. The hinges become twisted with time, and if they are not too bad,try this. Put up the cabin frame, and remove the mattress from the offending side. Holding the bed board vertical, use brute force to pull down on it. Check to see if it is closer to the side panel and repeat if needed. If they are too twisted, replace them. A simple modification with a ratchet strap will stop it pulling away in use.
