Just a small question?
on the top of the zig unit under the settee there is a 12volt switch.
Am I right in thinking that you switch this to the on position when hooked up to the 240 supply in order to supply the water pump etc with a 12v feed.
I am assuming that it is not then powered from the leisure battery.
Regards
John

i belive depeneding on age it could be one of two,the way you describe,or it will charge the battery and still use the battery for power.easy way to find out is to disconect the battery and see if your 12v still works on hookup.

that was a lovely summer

I am fairly certain that you need the battery connected to complete the circuit, - don't quote me on that but I'm sure I heard my OH say that once (I probably wasn't really listening as it was technical so my eyes glaze over) .

As far as I've always been aware, you don't need a battery connected. I spent the 1st yr without one. The unit is switched on to provide 12v for your lights and water pump. If the battery is connected, then the unit will keep the battery charged.
