Just a had a quote from combi-camp uk for a front box which appears to be £300 more than the what is stated on the combi-camp.com 2012 GBP price list. Does anyone know if combi-camp uk inflate their prices?
If they are the ones that are in Thame, I think the boxes they sell are not Combi-camp. I can't remember what type they are I just remember seeing a pile of them when we were looking at the combi-camps.

I think any fluctuation in the £ / € exchange rate affect the prices.

We approached Combi UK distributors last year and was quoted approx £600, and told that they were not very good and that comanche one was better although a lot smaller.
We eventually got custom one made out of aluminium by the people below

Thanks AlisonBob, they look just the ticket and a lot better than plastic. Does anyone have adbvice on how to fit a front box to the A frame, does it require drilling holes for bolts or can you get a brackets?
hi, my combicamps didn't have an a frame as such so peeps used to put a bracket across the tow frame at 90 degrees to support it, I think they sometimes were sort of clamped on if that makes sense - I'm not a very techy sort of person...
We fitted ours using right angled brakets from the side of the aframe through bottom of the frontbox, using some plates on the inside of the box to spread the load.
I have a ml270 as my towcar so was not too worried about nose weight, think our frontbox came in at 20kg empty. Not sure if that is a concern for you.
