Hi all,

I have a Jamet Texas TT. I was thinking of seeing if I could use straps to secure a roof box with the roof rack bars fitted, on the top of the TT.

My thought is to use the staps to secure this tightly onto the trailer. I wouldnt pack really heavy stuff into this, maybe just use it for clothes and bedding.

Has anyone tried this out please?

So maybe a layer of thin foam or old carpet under the roof box to stop damage then.

Good point regards the straps and box possibly rubbing and damaging the cover.

I may look to get some protective material for these points.
