Never have been a member of any of them Mick, and truth to tell dont think I am missing out on anything! To me the charm of camping is the "deregulation" of things, dont want anyone trying to organise me in any way! But Hey! if it "floats your boat".........just do it!
------------- I have enough money to last me the rest of my life..........provided I pop off at 6 O'clock tomorrow night.
Its the access to nearly 4000 5 van CL`s & CS`s that you get with membership that appeals to me. Many of them in locations well away from busier areas and not available to non-members.
------------- no matter where you go.........there you are
We are members of both clubs - we also attend DA (District Association) Ralleys with C&CC- usually very small (only a few units) and very cheap sometimes as little as £4per night per unit (not per person) - where else can you camp for a night at that price.
I WAS A MEMBER OF BOTH CLUBS IN 2004. I WILL ONLY BE JOINING C.C. THIS YEAR AS I FOUND C.C.C. HAD A BIT OF FRICTION BETWEEN CARAVANNERS AND CAMPERS (MIND YOU THIS CAN HAPPEN IN ANY MIXED INTEREST CLUB!) BUT IF YOUR INTO THINGS 'GREEN' THEN C.C.C. SEEMS BETTER CHOICE. HOWEVER C.C. HAS A FAR SUPERIOR MAGAZINE TO MY MIND AND COVERS CARAVANNING ISSUES IN MORE DEPTH. THE C.C. CLUB SITES ARE EXCELLENT AND I ALWAYS START AND END THE SEASON (SORRY-SUMMER CARAVANNER ONLY AT PRESENT!) AT THE LOCAL GOWERTON SITE.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
