Yep thats us heading for caernafon on friday??,  Are the roads still closed?

We were going to a funeral up in Yorkshire and it took us nearly 2 hours to get from Conwy to Abergele which normally would take us 15 - 20 minutes.  The little b-roads were clogged up with coaches, caravans, articulated trucks and masses of cars travelling in both directions.

It didn't take much longer to drive from Abergele to Yorkshire and thats with traffic moving slowly on parts of the M62.  If someone had told me beforehand that our journey would be delayed by a grounded ship, I would never have believed it.

We got there with about 5 minutes to spare and the A55 was clear on the way back.
