trying my pathfinder before first outing, have just tried to flush it,it was working last year on last outing, but i just cant get the thing to flush.Have checked the fuses, which are ok,pulled the cassette out everything looks ok in there.put more water in,just in case it needed water to flush,
I had an issue with my flush a couple of seasons ago.
Mine kept blowing fuses though. The only fuse I know of is located where the toilet cassette is located, at the right hand side (item 19 on the drawing LobeyDosser supplied).
I finally traced the fault to a seized water pump impeller. I had not flushed the pink water out enough after the last use before I stored it. Over the winter, the "pink stuff" had gone hard. This seems to be a common fault. I cleaned the impeller and got it moving, but it was not very smooth so I changed the pump for a new one, everything ok.
Check your pump , its easy to do. will try to dig out some instructions of how to remove the pump if you need them. It realy is a 10 minute job.
Which model toilet is in you year camper, C2,C4 ??

i have checked both the main fuse box,10 amp,and the one in the cassette compartment,3 amp.both are ok.where abouts is the pump fitted?what would i need to get it out?if you can get instructions for me that would be good, thanks
Sorry if I am going to state the obvious on how to find , download and open all the repair instructions to all the thetford toilets, but I want to make it simple for any reader to do it .
Click on service (which is under the picture of the toilet in grey ((next to General information in blue box)) , it will change to blue when your mouse arrow goes over it ), Then click on PDF repair instructions ( in blue writing). Open the file or save to pc..
On the left hand side there is a list of toilets ie. c2,3,4 or C200, c250 c400 etc.
Double Click on the one you have, this will then open another list with detail on how to repair/ remove components .
Scroll down to pumps and then click on that. Nice pictures come up of how to do it.
Hope this helps you out, sorry if I went to basic/obvious on how to find things on the site, just trying to make it simple for all reader.
It is a simple job to do, much easier to do than the pictures may make out.
Any other questions please ask.

Just had the same this weekend, changed the fuse in the cassette compartment and it blew again. Hubby took the pump out (remove the toilet roll holder to get at it) and cleaned it, apparently they can get gunged up. Put it all back together again and it works fine
if i had a brain i would be dangerous.talked to the guy in local shop,he gave me a copy of parts from book.took pump out from under loo roll holder.by chance we had left it empty after last use last year.pump was clear.I HAD TRIED TO MAKE IT WORK ON ELECTRIC ONLY.HADN'T CONNECTED BATTERY,durgggg.so now it works.at least i know what to do now,and everything is clean, lol.

I was just going down this thread laughing my socks off, but you seem to have come to the same conclusion as I did after pulling fuses etc etc.....only to find I had done exactly as you had ....battery oh yeah!!!!
hey Venturis4,it wasn't funny at the time, but it is now,had visions of having to buy new toilet, not nice.it is usually the obvious that you overlook, glad i thought of it when i did.got a nice clean toilet and pump now anyway.cleaned it all out as i pulled it apart.
