I have just purchased my first trailer tent, could anyone give me any advice on when choosing a pitch, it is better to go grass pitch or hard standing pitch, also can you get electric hook up on grass pitches. I have just spent my first weekend in the trailer tent and found it difficult to peg out the sides on the hard core pitch, I would be grateful for any tips and guidance for my next trip. Thanks
Because the trailer tent still needs a lot of pegging you are better on a grass pitch. Lots of sites do have EHU on grass pitches, you just need to check with the individual sites
I thought about having a hardstanding for our ttthis weekend but stayed with grass. It's nicer underfoot in the awning and easy to peg out. Incidentally you need rock pegs and a club hammer in hardstandings. EHU on grass is nearly always available, just check when booking
