We spent yesterday having another look at folding campers and trailer tents. My heart was set on a pathfinder/ crusaider but they are right on the cars towing limit.

We had discarded trailer tents as they seemed to take a while to put up and were then shown the camp let (very impressive). But came to the conclusion I still wanted a folding camper. The compromise is going to be the size and toilet.

So we're going to look at getting a fiesta or countryman. I'd prefer hot water so does anyone know what year they were introduced on these models? We're also going to convert an old porch awning are the zips the same on the fiesta and countryman?

Don't know when they put hot water in the countryman, we have a 2011 and it has hot water, we compromised with the loo re size so it would fit in the garage. We have the extension on the awning which gives us room for a spacious toilet/wardrope/space to put a small washing stand in bad weather. We love the çountryman.

We have a 2010 Countryman for sale (in the ads section here, and elsewhere), which has hot water, but no toilet. It has the full awning (and many other extras included) but we also had a caravan porch awning converted with an added zip, but it needs further work (darts adding to take in extra material in the sides) before using - this has never been used as we then decided to sell (we might be moving abroad later this year, so won't need this camper). If you need further info let me know.

Our 2006 Pullman has hot water.
No loo, of course, but we wouldn't want one anyway.
