The OP here considers he has "upgraded" from a tent to a folding camper, but we "upgraded" from a 2007 custom built caravan to a 2007 Folding Camper.
At least, to us it was an upgrade although I suppose some caravanners would not agree.
But just getting real interior sprung matteresses, beds that were always made up, but did not impinge into our living space, a full cooker with an oven, all luxuries compared to what we had.
Oh and a unit that is not going to depreciate by 7 thousand quid in 3 years.
Whilst folding campers have many other advantages, some of which you will only find through using them, I just know that those who have recently bought their FC's are in for good times ahead.
We just wish we had travelled this road 20 years ago instead of 2.
Still, its never too late to learn.
