Can anyone help?! We have just bought a 2008 cabanon venus trailer tent and we are struggling to do up the door on the trailer. Really don't know what we are doing wrong! Also has anyone bought a different mattress to go in the trailer or added something to it to make it more comfortable?

Possibly the canvas has shrunk a bit,but it's just as likely you are tensioning the cabin poles without closing the door first. If it has shrunk,then wet it and gently tension the cabin. For comfort,a memory foam topper might suit,and as you only have the one bed,it should have room to stay on when folding.

I think we probably aren't closing the cabin door before tensioning the cabin poles . It was fine during our demo at the camping shop where we bought it! Think I will investigate memory foam toppers - thanks!

We had a Venus
What we found was unfold cabin, go inside zip up the door then push up/out the poles.
We put a memory foam topper on the bed it made such a difference, when you go to fold it back down make sure webbing straps are done up over memory foam and leave in place to fold it up.

Thanks Macaw - good tip about zipping up before pushing out the poles.
I have worked out that we are looking for a small double size topper for the mattress in the trailer so will now google it!
