Hi there, this is my first time on the Trailer Tent board, I am considering upgrading from a tent to a trailer tent. We are a family of 6 so need plenty of space which we have in our current set up (Outwell Vermont XL), I have been looking at the Cabanon Atlantis as a possible option, slightly smaller but I do not thik too significantly.

There are lots of TT's out there so wondered if anyone else had any helpful insights, my budget is around £1,000 so looking at second hand. Does anyone know the difinitive dimensions of the Cabanon as cannot seem to get them from anywhere. I have also looked at the Sunncamp 450 as an option.

Any advice would be appreciated (can you also tell me what I should be looking out for when buying second hand).

I have just changed from a Cabanon Galaxy to a Sunncamp 550, which we took on Holiday to Spain for 3 weeks - The Sunncamp 550 is a significantly newer design than the Atlantis of Galaxy, it is much easier to errect and its zip in Groundsheet is a massive improvement. If you look at ebay the prices of Sunncamp 550 is getting very close to your budget, especially now that the summer is over

Yes the Cabanon is a better quality tent, with better canvas and stronger zips, however, the Sunncamp is not at all bad and will last a long time if well looked after
