Well done on getting your Rapido! I don't know the answer to your electrics question, but I'm sure that I saw some electrics diagrams/instructions that were relevant when I had mine. Trouble is, I can't remember where! Maybe just a Google search? Also, the original reading light that was on mine did not have any bare wires ... And it did run off the hook up as well. You could chat to a caravan shop, because it is still a caravan, even if it does fold down small! Good luck!
