Hi, I have a 20+yr old Conway cruiser. It has a torn canvas and twisted runners so I think it is unlikely that I could sell it. I suspect to tow it any distance it would need new tyres. How do I get rid of it?
Do I strip it down and sell bits as spares?
Do I try to sell in hope someone wants chassis?
If I have to scrap it where do I go?
Thanks for any suggestions.

try putting it in the local freeads, as old fc needing big attention or scrapping,possible use of chassis for a trailer, open to offers

No matter how bad you think it is, offer it up on freecycle and someone will take it or advertise it at a low price in your local supermarket and it wont stay for long, even stating that it requires attention anything to do with camping always seems to go.

If you can get it up and take some pictures of it you could put it on ebay - I am sure you will get something for it.

What about the awning is that in reasonable condition? People are always after those and may buy it for that alone.

I would put it on Ebay.

Take photo's and be very honest about the state of the tent and let them do the rest.

I always encourage people to come and look before bidding so there is no comeback. You will be suprised how much you will make!
