Was it cold when you tried it. If it was and you were using camping gas or butane, it might not have worked properly. When it warms up it may be OK.

You need propane for cold weather. By cold I mean 5deg or less.

The other possibility is a leak in the gas pipes or a blockage, or a tap not turned on fully or a faulty regulator.

However, do be very careful with gas as it can be dangerous.

Hi Sally , how old is your camper? As older models I'm sure suffered problems with the regulator, where your main gas pipe from the bottle goes into, think they get clogged up or something and might be restricting your flow. Worth checking all your valves are open first properly.

Have a good look at the ring for signs of debris (rust, dust or where a pan may have boiled over) try cleaning with an old toothbrush.

I had what sounds like the same problem on my 2009 Crusader, I could just about get a flame on one ring but could not light any more than one at once. Changed the gas bottle and checked the pipes etc. but turned out to be a faulty regulator.

Mines a Truma regulator and apparently itís a common problem with them.
Good luck!
