anyone know what diameter the cord should be - 5mm or 6mm??

Not sure which to buy as I don't want to struggle trying to get 6mm through if it was only meant to be 5mm.

Of course if I revert to plan B and cut the perished cord and tie on the new it won't be a problem. Plan C is to put a couple of eyelets into the cover and attach the new cord through those.
