Over the weekend we have opened our folding camper up for the first time in 2 years! It is as good as new again now. We had taken the canvas off & all the soft furnishings and kept it all inside. It just needed a good wash as the winter cover had perished in some places due to one of our neighbours cats clawing at it. We are off on holiday in it in a couple of weeks so it's all ready to go now. Just need to buy a new winter cover for it now again (cat scarer would be an idea too!)
Hi k+d just remindedd me to pen up my Trigano TT lol Been in the garage for 3 years So used to taking caravan away Least like you all soft furnishings have been stored in the spare bedroom .
It smells just like new inside - Dave had used a towel to pad something out in the main body and when we took the winter cover off, the towel smelt as dry and fresh as if it had been newly washed. The winter cover had really done it's job well, but we will still store the canvas inside at the end of he season, just in case, as it doesn't take much work :)
We have just opened ours after 4 years and I can't believe how excited I was to smell the familiar "camper" smell.
We are currently cleaning ours to use for the summer and I can't wait.
After trying a tent I will appreciate the luxury of the beds off the floor and the sofa's and all the cupboard space.
