Hi All,

Has anyone any thoughts on how to use the kitchen supports on a 1999 Fiesta?

The supports have a U clip on one end and a C clip on the other and I usually put one end on to the cabin roof bar and the other onto the kitchen roof bar but I recently had a kitchen collapse in heavy winds due to the supports slipping.

What I'm wondering is am I putting the supports in the correct position (newer models go from the cabin uprights to the kitchen corner but they use totally different poles) and if I am placing the supports in the correct position... which way round do the U and C clips go?

I hope this makes sense and I would most grateful if anybody has any thoughts on the matter as I really don't want to incur any damage due to another collapse.

Thanks,

Richard

If its like mine the shelving unit stops the one on the right hand side from slipping.

Is this the unit that hangs off of the kitchen roof bar?

If so how does it stop the support from slipping (well I can see how it would stop it slipping to the right but not the left) and do you know which way round the U and C clips go?

Thanks ever so much for your input, I've only ever found the shelf unit to be a pain in the butt... maybe I'm missing a trick!

Cheers,

Richard
