HI we have just spent a fab weekend at Elvaston Steam Rally however when we came to pack the FC down a bird has pooped down the back of the acrylic canvas we have tried to get it off with just water and paper towel as we were on a rally field and this is all that was available but now it is stained - does anyone have any idea on how to remove this big bird dropping without damaging or fading the fabric - any suggestions would be most welcome
Ours cotton not acrylic, but first outing and it got pooped all over. We've just rinsed it off with water and left the stains, I assumed that a bit of sunshine (and lots of of rain!) would fade them. I don't know if that's right or not, but I suppose I'll find out in August!
Let it dry
Then brush with a stiff brush
Then wash with water
If it resists that .. then try Isabella awning cleaner ... but it does such a good job, you might need to do the whole thing!
