Hi all
Just purchased a pathfinder 2006 and was wondering about cooking in the oven. Does it get up to temp like a normal gas cooker, and do you need to leave stuff in longer or does it take the same amount of time to cook stuff as a normal gas cooker?

We use an oven temp gauge.

It hangs from the bars of the oven tray and you can see it through the door.

But to answer your question, we have generally found the food takes longer to cook, but then again, when we are away, we have longer to spend cooking and so time is not a problem.

Yes, it definitely takes longer (assuming pathfinder oven is the same as crusader)...I would make sure you put the oven on well in advance for it to get to temperature and I tend to cook everything on full whack!

My wife constantly cooks in ours, really impressed, plus ant beleive how long the gas bottle has lasted so far.

I hate ours :( well somebody has to. It heats the unit up too much for my liking. But it is quite good it takes longer to heat up but once its going its fine.
