Hi, does anyone use storage brackets to store their trailer tent on its side? Does this really save much space? I'm supposing the kitchen unit must be removed before standing it on its end? The tent and the kitchen will take up the entire garage whichever way I put it in!
Don't know whether to buy the brackets of just keep the thing on its wheels? Any ideas and suggestions welcome. :-)
I've just purchased a 350 SE and to be honest I didn't think you could put them on their side. I've seen the lightweight Camplet put on its side quite easily. I'm 6 ft plus and wouldn't like try and put mine on its side, but I'm sure if someone has done it they'll soon correct me.

Thanks Neil - I know that the brackets are available to buy, but don't know how you actually get it on its side once the brackets are on (other than ask husband and son to sort it!)
Thanks Griff, something to think about. Neil - your TT looks exactly like ours! same colour (green and cream) and also looks as though you put your up far better than we managed!!!
Not so much for space saving,but for getting it through the garden gate I suppose. You can take the wheels off which makes it a bit narrower on Conway/Cabanon/Sunncamp types. You can see how it works on the Penrose website.

We were very pleased that we managed to erect our TT to quite a good standard considering as I said ealier that this was our first attempt. Maybe because it was our first go that we took our time (weather was great and we paused for a beer after we had built the frame) Also wanted to try and look proffesional to the onlookers.
