Hello,

I am looking to purchase a second hand folding camper...something similar to this:

http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/folding-trailer-tent-camper-pennine/1025951082#photo-content

I am not sure if my car is suitable for towing. It is a 2007 Vauxhall Corsa 1248cc Club Cdti.

Can someone with experience in towing a folding camper with a small car make any suggestions?

800kg is your limit and a max nose weight of 50kg

ask the seller for the weights stamped on the trailer plate

i have the same car and found it pretty good for towing a Conway Cruiser- which is about 700kg, a littel slower with a conway Cardinal.

You will need to find out which model of Pennine that it is and then go on to the Pennine website and find out what weight it is.
