No knowledge of this one, but having gone from a tent to a folding camper, it's definitely worth getting off the ground - a whole new and much more enjoyable experience.  Good luck with your purchase.

Getting off the ground is the most important bit! Much warmer  much more comfortable and quicker set up time.

i agree went from tent used 7 nights and hated it to F/C used that 4 nights last week and could have stayed longer, still cold [but it was freezing at the end of last week in cumbria] but no draughts and a lot more comfy it is definately worth the upgrade

hi we had a trigano chantilly for about 2 years until i had the bright idea that i wanted a caravan so hubby caved in and let me have my way. sold beloved tt got caravan used it twice and hated the towing so selling the caravan and have now got a pullman folding camper. totally regret getting rid of trailer tent it gave us some really good holidays bit of a pain putting up and packing away but it was worth it have to say the triganos are a very good solid unit.

We bought a Raclet trailer tent after spending several years camping in a frame tent and never knowing what to do about the sleeping arrangements.

The difference is huge. With the frame tent we had it was a case of pitch it all or not at all. With the Trailer we can stop overnight and the sleeping section takes minutes to put up. If we are staying for longer and we decide to put up the main awning that can take as long as the frame tent to put up on its own.

So there are pro's and con's for both but havng just come back from our first weekend away for the year in our trailer, we wouldn't change it for anything.

ive just bought a trigano tt, what a bargain 600 quid. Its like new and has all the extras plus loads more, nearly bought a brand new one from camperlands that would of cost 3000, very glad i didnt. It was a comprimise, as i wanted a caravan and hubby wanted to stick with the tent, tried it out last weekend. Fantastic!!

we love our raclet trailer tent, although the awning can be a pain if the ground is uneven, purchased a spirit level that sits on the trailer as i got sick of my hubby shouting at me is it level? are you sure? it wont .... etc.  at least now i can get on with the unpacking without loosing my cool.

Hope you have some fabulous holidays when it arrives pegg, i know i would never turn the clock back since buying ours...... kids love it too!

Definitely agree with all the enthusiasm........but buy second hand!  Ours was £1000 instead of £3000 new and you would never have known the difference.....by the way comfortable nights, the beds are like proper double beds and weather tight in floods (or were we just lucky)
