Hi Im a newbie, and I have the above trailer tent, weve only used it once but have noticed it has a few "issues" we cant find anywhere that does spares or accessories in the UK for it and we cant figure out how to put up the material lining inside the awning. We would be grateful if anyone can help us with this matter as we would love to get it in tiptop condidtion, I have already re-upholstered bench seats but now want to do curtains and cant get curtain hooks :-(

I had a good chat about Comanche whilst at the NEC.Comanche weren't present but they were on our shortlisted of possible purchases.

Apparently there's a bloke called Ziggy who is the UK contact for them. We've decided against Comanche precisely because of the issue you are having with getting problems dealt with. Also several other manufacturers questioned their quality. This may of course just be the usual sales stuff, but who knows.

John from Camperlands mentioned Ziggy and may have further info re his whereabouts. There's just a chance he was spinning me a yarn, but you might want to give em a call.

thanks guys I have emailed Camperlands I think (recognise the address) but havent had reply as yet. I can honestly say that I recommend the comanche we have its easy to put up Im 5ft 1 and dont have any probs, and as for quality its second hand and other than a couple of tears that we are getting repaired we havent had any problems with it. Its just getting parts for it. But thanks again for the advice, must say Ive always had campervans before but loving this!

Combi Camp in Thame are the UK dealers for Comanche. I'm pretty sure that's the only place that does them, and they haven't gone to the NEC for a few years.

It's Siggi Jokumsen by the way, he's been running the dealership forever, and the other person there is Brian Griffin.

We found Siggi very, very helpful when we called in for some information last year.

We had a Comanche Montana which we took to The Netherlands for 6 weeks earlier this year. We have owned Conways and Triganos in the past and were very happy with the quality of the Comanche.

Not getting any responses on my post.

I have just bought a Comanche Compact but we are having big issues getting the awning up. The poles are fine. The issue is the panels on the front. They don't seem to zip on. The zip cords don't seem to have stoppers and so the zips all seem to slide off (They don't stop at the end of the zip cord). Any ideas? Are 5 adults being thick?
