I need to replace the beam axle on my Jamet Lousianne TT and I was wondering if anyone has done this already and if there are any pit falls that I need to be aware of? It looks to be simple enough to replace so long as I get the correct axle replacement.
I have spoken to Camperlands who were very helpful with sourcing the correct part.

looking under my 'Jamet?' it looks pretty straight forward just use lots and lots of release agent to free the bolts don't want one snapping (Nightmare) have a look in towsure they sell suspension units that may fit.
Already looked at Towsure, they don't do axle beams. According to Camperlands, they get their spares from places like Banbury trailers ~£100. Apparently the axle is a standard 500kg beam axle, which is made to the width of your trailer. I need to double check the dimensions against the trailer. From what I have seen, it is 6 bolts to remove the old unit and 4 bolts to secure the new one. Fingers crossed.

sorry i see now complete axle set up. i will be quite now
like i said lots of release agent (WD40) and a if possible stand it on its side for ease of access. if really rusted on use a bar as extra leverage, please don't use a hammer (Sorry you probably already know that but have seen my share of accidents through us of hammers on nuts and its not pretty.)
