I have a pennine quartz 2+2 2011 model and we have the original Isabella awning with this. Now our dilemma is we would like to go on weekend trips but do not like setting up the awning for this as it can be very time consuming so what we are looking for is an alternative.
Has anyone seen one of those quick pop up tent style awnings or even inflatable ones that would fit this style of folding caravan ? I believe they are much quicker to set up and easier too and they would solve our problem for those short overnight or two stop overs.
Search 'Alternative to an awning on fc' and scroll down to Jan P. click on her pic and you will see why we too went to TVS Bolton. Used ours in France 2013 and will never again think about putting up the full awning. Added advantage is you can leave it attached and fold it over when you pack up and move sites. Really is the best thing we have bought for our fc.
I have posted before we use a Outdoor revolution techlite pro porch awning we use figure of eight strips which one side slide on to the main body & we the slide the porch awning rail onto that!

I have adapted a kampa rally air 260 to fit my cruiser.
Will be using it for the first time in April.
It set up ok in my garden, but the pictures in my gallery are not too good as my garden has quite a slope on it.

What did you need to do to modify it Macquatic?
The expensive way is to have a zip sewn on to the porch awning that fits your camper zip.The cheap way ,is to use figure 8 strips with one side pinched in (when heated ) so that it slides and grips over your camper zip.I use the same suncamp swift awning for a cruiser using the strips. It can be seen in my gallery.
Caravan porch awnings don't fix at the sides. They just have a gap which the wind whistles through. Most have a padded vertical pole which fixes to the awning and gets pushed against the side of the van.
That gap has never bothered us though, but might if you want to sleep in it.
