As it says really,, who is biting the bullet and venturing out camping first?
We always go at easter, this will be the first time in a FC and looking forward to it.
Last year we were in a tent and went to Shell Island,, we drove over the moors from North Wales and corwen road had 12ft snow drifts either side of it, ,we thought it was mad,, but we did it. first morning was cold though,, once out from under duvets the gas wouldnt light cos the gas in bottle had solidified and the thermometer said it was -8... No ECU at shell either lol
This year, we are off to a diff site up in Anglesea,, it has ECU and nodoubt itll be a tad warmer.
So who is going before that? i might be tempted to go a bit earlier :)
I like to try to camp all year round but we have had such an awful cold, wet and windy winter so far that staying home in the warm and dry is the best option. I have nothing planned for this year yet but once this awful weather clears up I will be eager to get away and try out my new tent.
We're booked for Canterbury in Kent at Easter.
If it is mild we may venture out at Feb half term!!!
Seeing as we only got our Pathfinder in Sept and then only got one chance to use it, we are chomping at the bit!
same as us really Debbie . we had a tt all year then brought the fc at the end of the season. only used it once. really eager to get going with it and use all the "extras" we've purchased over the last few months..mad as it sounds I can't wait to use my new awning tensioner Pmsl ... only thing left to get is a solar panel when I can figure out which one to get
we are eager to get going aswell as we only got our conway cardinal last august and needed some minor work and had to buy all the gear so only got out for one of the last weekends of the season before we parked her up,so cant wait will be posting more when i get back into camping mode lol
