We are going to the new forest too. Longmeadow campsite. Anyone been? It has good reviews. First proper family outing In our new, second hand 30 year old pennine pullman. The built in heater works fine. Anyone know where I may find someone to look at the gas fridge as I can't seem to get that working.

We had 6 nights at Long Meadow last June .
Lovely spacious site, with great shower block.
Very nice area with the forest walks and small towns within easy driving distance.

We are out there now! First trip of the year, we are at Lickpenny, in the Derbyshire Dales.
Lovely campsite, it's our first time on hardstanding, the awning pegs went in OK now have to hope they come out OK!
Also our first time with the motor movers on the Fiesta, my goodness me they same a lot of heaving about.
A little bit cold at night but the heater copes well.

We're off to Derbyshire tomorrow - can't wait any longer for first trip of the season! Taking the kids to Conkers - got a Groupon deal for half price family entry (should be £30!). Also just bought an electric underblanket!!!!
