Just got back from our maiden voyage and as it was the first time we had used our new pullman. we flushed the water through with steralising fluid.problem is the water still tasted of steralising fluid after flushing 3 full aqua rolls of water through.are we doing something wrong or does anybody else have the same problem?
Don't tell Scampi but I haven't ever sterilised mine. We just take a Robinsons orange bottle with us for drinking water till we are sure the tank contains fresh. When ours was new I thought it tasted of sterilsing fluid but after I decided it was just the new plastic pipes I could taste.

We always use a seperate water container for the kettle and drinking water, the container is always kept in the unit holds approx 2 gallons. We have used this system for many years since we bought our first new caravan, we did not like the taste from the pipes, so even with our camper unit we use the water container, and the aqua roll is only used for washing up, hope this helps.
Just came back ourselves, but cleaned only our aqua roll with milton and flushed it out before we took it away with us , Had no problem with the water . maybe it was because you flushed the whole system.
we used milton liquid, but between you and all the readers of uk campsite i think my husband may have used to much. Although he says he put in a little splosh i've seen my hubbies little sploshes before if you no what i mean.do you use a full tablet?
New pipes can have a bit of taste to them. I have heard some getting changed because it never seems to go. I think I put about half a tablet in and then run it through the system. If you have a water filter I would remove it before running the miltons through or replace it afterwards. Never had a problem with bad taste.
